Fall 2026 TEAS Prep (300)
The ATI Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is required for admission into many Nursing and Allied Health programs, including MassBay Community College.
This virtual course prepares students in all four TEAS subject areas: Math, Science, Reading, and English/Grammar. Classes are taught online in real time by live instructors, offering interactive support and practice in each area.

Fall 2026 CompTia A+ Complete
CompTIA is one of the world's most recognized certification bodies. CompTIA Complete offers a comprehensive range of IT certifications that span from foundational computer skills to advanced networking and security expertise. These certifications are highly sought after by employers when hiring IT professionals.
In this 10-week course, students will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue certification in various CompTIA IT certifications.
Fall 2026 ELL Tuesday and Thursday (All levels) 8 Week 1
ELL Advanced: This course is intended for students who have completed the Intermediate course or have a high intermediate to advanced level of English. The course will focus on building skills in reading, writing, grammar and advanced vocabulary for everyday life or academic study. The classes will offer practice through a variety of activities, including class discussions, oral presentations, small group work and individual assignments.
ELL Intermediate: This course is designed for students who have completed the Beginner course or who have a basic foundation in English. The course will focus on building and improving English grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills for communicating in everyday situations. The reading activities focus on comprehension and critical thinking skills. Activities include class discussions, group work and individual assignments.
ELL Beginner: This course is intended for students with limited English language skills. The focus will be to build a practical English vocabulary and understanding of basic grammar structures to communicate in everyday life. Class activities will give students practice in conversational English as well as reading and writing.
Note: New students will have placement test on the first day to place into Advanced class, or Intermediate class, or Beginner class

Fall 2026 Certified Damage Appraisal Course
Automotive Damage Appraisal Course: Part I - Claims professionals, auto body technicians and others are trained for the Massachusetts Automobile Damage Appraisers License Examination. The course includes in- depth discussion of insurance regulations, policy arbitration, and work completion forms, use of Flat Rate Manuals, collision diagnosis, cost estimation and preparation of written estimates. Instructor is ICAR Platinum certified and has more than 30 years’ experience in the automotive industry, including 16 years of management and appraisal experience.

First day of class (09/08/2026), all student will meet virtually to take a placement test. Students will be placed into Group 1 or Group 2 depending on their level.

The classes will offer practice through a variety of activities, including class discussions, oral presentations, small group work and individual assignments.

The instructor will assess your level on the first day of class. Once your level is determined, the instructor will inform you whether you belong to the 12:30–2:30 PM group or the 2:30–4:30 PM group.
